Who Is Behind It
There is no named author here, no byline and no claimed years of living in the city. The work is desk work. Every page starts with the operators' own live listings, the venues' official pages and public records from the agencies that publish them, and the writing follows what those sources actually state. Nobody on this site claims to have stood in the Joanina library, climbed to the Paço das Escolas or eaten in any of the places named on these pages. This guide is researched rather than lived, and it says so here rather than dressing desk work up as a visit. The job is narrower than that: read the record, compare the options, and say plainly when a figure cannot be confirmed.

Entry prices come from the venue itself, in euro, because euro is what the till charges: the University of Coimbra publishes its combined ticket at 16.50 EUR, the Sé Velha charges 3 EUR, Mosteiro de Santa Cruz 5 EUR and Conímbriga 10 EUR, and this site quotes those figures rather than converting anything. Tour from-prices are shown in the dollars the listings themselves display. One private day trip is priced per group rather than per person, and it is labelled that way instead of being passed off as a per-head figure.

What This Site Will Not Do
Nothing is invented. The line repeated across most guides to this city, that Coimbra is a UNESCO World Heritage city, appears nowhere here, because the inscription covers the University's Alta and Sofia components rather than the city itself. The ticket price for Museu Nacional de Machado de Castro is missing from these pages for the same reason: the museum is closed for conservation work and publishes no current figure, so none is quoted. Weather figures come from the IPMA climate normals for the Coimbra / Bencanta station and stop where that table stops. There is no countdown pressure, no invented scarcity and no paid placement dressed as advice. Where something is unknown, it stays unknown.
